Types of Membership

Southern Fauquier Ruritan is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of our community. We strive to promote volunteerism, community engagement, and charitable contributions. Our mission is to empower individuals to make a positive impact and foster a spirit of cooperation and service.

Become a Full Member

Full membership in Ruritan is for those people who want to help their community, are able to attend monthly meetings, serve on committees, help organize and run events and fundraisers. Annual dues for our club are $125 per person, due upon joining the club then on each anniversary date of membership.

Members will receive the following:

1. A subscription to the National Magazine
2. Lapel pin (one per membership)
3. Club Newsletter (subject to availability and club policy)
4. Membership card

Youth Member

Youth members are always WELCOME! Youth members are expected to attend monthly meetings, can serve on, but not head, committees, and are expected to help with events and fundraisers. Youth membership dues are $85 annually, until the renewal date after the youth turns 18.  

Become an Associate/Business Member

Associate membership in Ruritan has been established to provide an opportunity for individuals and businesses that are not available to attend club meetings as a regular member, but who want to be affiliated with Ruritan and show their support of the community-improving work Ruritans do.

Not available to attend club meetings or events but want to help support our club's work? Sponsor an event!

Businesses who sponsor events are prominently listed on event advertising, signs, event merchandise, and more!

How to become a Ruritan member
